The RSI PECOS Database Search Utility is a software program that allows you to search for individual physicians and ALSO allows you to search an entire list of physicians at once! This is an important feature if you need to search for hundreds of physicians. Our utility is the only one that provides this feature!
PECOS Utility Features:
- Search by NPI Number, Last name, or Last name, First name
- Search an entire file of physicians and generate a report showing which physicians are not registered in the PECOS database
- Create a PECOS warning report from your CEDI GEN response file
- PECOS database updates done as soon as CMS releases them
If your billing software allows you to export your physician file, you can probably use the file search feature of our utility. The file required is a CSV file and is "Excel friendly". Many times exporting to an Excel spreadsheet creates this type of file.
